World Series Weather Report: Game 2 Looks Dry and San Francisco is Ready for Baseball

Oct 25, 2012 02:49 PM EDT

Game 2 of the World Series will be once again in San Francisco and the weather looks to play its part in making this another night of baseball without interruption.

Currently, in the City by the Bay it is partly cloudy and it is 66 degrees outside. For tonight, they are predicting 0 chances of rain and with  65 percent humidity. The temperature will be in the lower 50's.

When studying the radar, there is no moisture over the San Francisco. All the precipitation is taking place east by Utah, Nevada, Wyoming and Colorado. Anyways that's snow falling over on those sides of the country. We do not want snow on the field.

San Francisco had two straight nights of memorable baseball. The first one was directly weather related, with the San Francisco Giants receiving a downpour late in Game 7 against the St. Louis Cardinals.

Marco Scutaro trapped the last out of the game after putting up incredible NLCS numbers. Minutes later, he was hoisting the NLCS MVP trophy in the moist air of San Francisco.

Last night, there was no rain, but there was plenty of thunder and lightening provided by the Kung Fu Panda, Pablo Sandoval, as he struck with three long balls against the Detroit Tigers. Two of which were against the best pitcher in baseball, Justin Verlander.

First pitch will be a little after 8 p.m. ET tonight. If there are any last minute complications, we will keep you updated.
