The 2015 fantasy football season has some great rookies this year and some of the best options include Amari Cooper, Tyler Lockett, Ty Montgomery, Nelson Agholor, Ameer Abdullah, Sammie Coates, DeVante Parker and Dorial Green-Beckham as players to watch for fantasy owners heading into the first week of the season.

The rookie class from last year was very strong, especially at the wideout position with players like Odell Beckham and Jordan Matthews breaking out. This year there are a number of players at that position that could be breakout players, including Nelson Agholor, DeVante Parker, Amari Cooper, Tyler Lockett, Ty Montgomery and Sammie Coates. The RB position also has Melvin Gordon, TJ Yeldon and Ameer Abdullah as players to watch along with David Cobb and David Johnson.

Amari Cooper comes in as one of the sure things of the group, as he is going to be a starter and it considered to be the top wideout of this class. Cooper has been getting rave reviews from Derek Carr and the Raiders staff and he is going to be a number one option. Cooper already showed off some skills in the preseason with his moves on Patrick Peterson and he could be OBJ part II this season if Carr continues to develop.

Cooper was very productive for Alabama last season and had over 120 receptions with 17 touchdowns and 1727 yards and now he has the chance to make it in the NFL. Tyler Lockett is another name to watch and the way he played in the preseason could be a sign of things to come. Lockett had a great return on a punt and against the Raiders he put together a 63-yard touchdown while playing with Russell Wilson. The Seahawks have Doug Baldwin as their number one and while Jermaine Kearse is solid, expect Lockett to get some looks, especially if he keeps performing well on special teams.

Some players could be great options due to injuries and suspensions, as Ty Montgomery and Sammie Coates could have bigger roles than previously expected. Jordy Nelson is out for the season and that could help Montgomery get some more chances in the offense with Aaron Rodgers. Coates could get some extra work with Martavis Bryant out for four games and if he plays well, that could continue through the season. Ameer Abdullah is also a player worth going after, as Joique Bell has dealt with injuries and that could push Abdullah into the starting lineup at times.

DeVante Parker is worth taking a look at, as he is expected to be the number two or three receiver once he is fully healthy for the Dolphins. Parker and the Dolphins offense could be explosive with Jarvis Landry already there. TJ Yeldon and Melvin Gordon are great rookie RB options, as they both could end up starting for their respective teams. Dorial Green-Beckham and Nelson Agholor also could be solid options at receiver and they are worth late round picks.
