The Pittsburgh Steelers and Buffalo Bills are playing on Week 3 of the NFL preseason schedule and the matchup from Ralph Wilson Stadium starts at 4 pm ET and has Michael Vick likely getting his first action for the Steelers, while players like Ben Roethlisberger, Antonio Brown, EJ Manuel, Tyrod Taylor and LeSean McCoy get ready for the season.
The Bills are starting EJ Manuel and the team has yet to pick a starter for the season opener, while Sammy Watkins and Robert Woods are among the 12 players out against Steelers. The Steelers lost their first two preseason games, including the HOF game against the Vikings and after losing to the Jaguars, the team won against the Packers.
The Bills are next on the schedule for the Steelers this week and the team finishes off the preseason against the Carolina Panthers. The team opens the season against the New England Patriots and that will be on the 10th for the season kick off and comes with Tom Brady, Le'Veon Bell and Martavis Bryant out. LeGarrette Blount also will be out and that should make things interesting for both teams. Jimmy Garoppolo likely will be starting for the Patriots in that game.
The Steelers have the San Francisco 49ers next on the schedule and then the team plays two of three on the road with the Rams, Chargers and Ravens on the docket. The Steelers will host the Cardinals and then will play on the road against the Chiefs before three straight at home against the Bengals, Raiders and Browns. The team has the Seahawks next and then they will play against the Colts, Bengals, Broncos, Ravens and Browns on the road to end the season.
The Steelers offense will take hits with Bell and Martavis Bryant out, but the team should still be very good with Antonio Brown and Markus Wheaton. The team also added DeAngelo Williams in the offseason to help with Bell being out and he could be a very solid backup option when Bell returns. The Bills come in after losing to the Panthers and winning against the Browns in the preseason and the next games are Pitt and then on the road against the Lions.
The Bills open the season at home with the Colts and the Patriots and after that the team has the Dolphins. The team will get the Pats without Tom Brady and then the team faces the Fins, Giants and Titans before games against the Bengals, Jaguars and Dolphins on the schedule. The Jets, Pats and Chiefs are next and the team has a tough stretch of four of five games on the road. The team has the Pats, KC, Eagles and Redskins on the road in a span of five games. The team ends the season with the Cowboys and Jets.
