The NBA free agent market has Glen Davis still available and the LA Clippers and Dallas Mavericks are potential landing spots, while the Los Angeles Lakers also could be a fit for Davis or Brendan Haywood and this comes as Mike Miller, Greg Stiemsma and Norris Cole are still available for teams.

Davis has been on the market all summer and there was some talk earlier in the offseason that he would be willing to return to the Clippers. According to the Los Angeles Times, the Clippers and Doc Rivers have talked with Davis' people and there is a chance that a deal could happen down the line. Brad Turner reports that the sides have "been circling" each other since July and that a deal could happen soon, but nothing is close as of yet.

The Clippers have space on the roster with 13 guaranteed contracts and there have also been reports that the team could consider trading Jamal Crawford. Davis is a free agent option, but some of the reports have had the Clippers looking to possibly deal Crawford for Chris Andersen and if that happens, it's unlikely the team would also bring back Davis. The team also could keep Crawford in the mix and sign Davis without giving up the solid bench scorer.

The Times reports that the Mavericks have also been in touch with Davis and they could be an option as well. The Mavs have signed Samuel Dalembert and added Zaza Pachulia in a trade after the whole DeAndre Jordan mess and they may want another front court option. According to CBS Sports Radio, Davis said that he wants to play for a contender and "expects to sign" by the end of this month. Davis also reportedly is considering playing overseas.

The Lakers are still an option to add some free agents and the team has reportedly considered signing back Metta World Peace. While that deal is a bit out of left field, it could give the Lakers some solid veteran depth. The team also brought in Michael Frazer and Jonathan Holmes to battle for a roster spot and Haywood could be a potential fit as well. The team has Roy Hibbert and Robert Sacre at center and they could look at adding some more depth there.

Mike Miller and Haywood are free agents after being waived by the Blazers following their trade from the Cavs. Miller reportedly is an option for the Mavericks, Grizzlies and Warriors, while Haywood could be a fit in LA or with the Bulls. Marc Stein at ESPN writes that Miller, Haywood and some other players on the market may have to wait until camp to get deals. Teams have their rosters mostly set already and once injuries and other issues arise, teams will make more moves in camp.

Davis said in the radio interview that he is interested in going back to the Clippers, saying that he "would love" to return for Rivers and the team. Last season Davis played in 74 games for the Clippers and averaged 4.0 points and 2.3 rebounds in 12.2 minutes per game. Davis is a good rebounder and he can be an end of the bench player behind Blake Griffin, Josh Smith Jordan and Cole Aldrich.
