Reggie Wayne probably never envisioned he would not retire as a member of another team and currently that is what will happen.

Wayne spent 14 years with the Indianapolis Colts only to sign with their hated rivals the Patriots 2 weeks before the beginning of the 2015 regular season. The new Patriot agreed to a one year deal with the club which is surprising considering in December he stated

"What I know I'm not going to do is go somewhere else and play for one year. Nobody else. I don't have the time to be dipping and dabbing, one year here, maybe one year somewhere else. Put a stamp on it. Stamp it. Colt for life."

The veteran must have felt a little rejected after the Colts did not resign him and instead signed Andre Johnson and drafted Phillip Dorsett. Dorsett was assumed to be the heir to TY Hilton if the Colts could not get a long term extension done with the playmaker however it now seems as if Dorsett was selected to replace Wayne in the long run.

Andre Johnson will bring Wayne's veteran experience to the Colt's passing attack while still being younger than 37. Wayne is hoping to secure one more championship before he retires and New England is a great place to win one.
