NFL Preseason Preview Chicago Bears and Indianapolis Colts: Can Phillip Dorsett Help TY Hilton, Andrew Luck? Can Jay Cutler Shine Without Kevin White?

5 things to watch for....

1. Can the Bears continue to dominate the ground game?

Senorise Perry came out looking like a man on a mission in the Bears first preseason game. Perry had 10 carries, for 89 yards and a touchdown.  The closest total to that was Ka'Deem Carey who had 7 carries, for 34 yards and a touchdown. The predetermined change of pace back Jacquizz Rodgers also had 7 carries but for 33 yards and no touchdowns. Who will the Bears like the most to backup Matt Forte?

2. Can Phillip Dorsett continue to torch defenses?

Dorsett had an absolutely ridiculous stat line from his first preseason game. He had 4 receptions for 51 yards and looked incredibly fast. If he finishes with a similar or better stat line he could promoted up the depth chart a bit. TY Hilton has yet to make his preseason debut as well so it will be interesting how his involvement impacts Dorsett's targets.

3. Who will step up for Kevin White?

The Bears need someone big to step in for Kevin White. With Alshon Jeffery unable to practice with a calf injury the Bears will call on their back up receiving core. This involves Eddie Royal, Josh Bellamy, and Marquess Wilson. Royal has been the most impressive of all of them so will he be the one to take Kevin White's spot this season?

4. Can the Colt's defense step up?

The Colts defense got pummeled all last season and it i would have added more depth than that. t'here they left off. The Colts got manhandled but the Eagles second team, and yes theis looking like their picking up right where they left off. The Colts got manhandled but the Eagles second team and yes their starters were out (mostly due to injury) but still you would have assumed the Colts would have added more depth than that.

5. Will any of the other Colts starting wide receivers make an appearance?

We have yet to see Andre Johnson, Donte Moncrief, or TY Hilton in preseason action. This will likely change as we get closer to the regular season but it will be interesting to see what role Moncrief and Johnson have going into this season. Hilton and Dorsett are the speed guys so will Johnson be used primarily for red zone passing situations?
