The Oregon Ducks are the most explosive team in the nation and will put their undefeated record on the line on Thursday night against Arizona State.

The team has rushed out to a 6-0 record this season, but has only played one road game, a 51-26 win at Washington State. The Ducks struggled at the beginning of that game, but eventually pulled away for the blowout.

"We are 6-0 and the team understands that we control what we can control," coach Chip Kelly told Oregon's official website.

Last Saturday the team beat No. 23 Washington 52-21 and now travels to Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe to take on Arizona State.

The Ducks are currently ranked No. 3 in the first BCS standings and could make a jump to number two if Florida loses to South Carolina this weekend. Oregon is tied atop the Pac-12 North division with Oregon State and is two games ahead of Stanford.

The Ducks have one of the most prolific offenses in the country and are currently ranked 4th in rushing yards and 2nd in points per game, scoring 52 each contest. The team is also ranked 8th in total yards with over 540 per game.

Freshman Marcus Mariota has been solid as a starting quarterback for the Ducks, throwing for over 1300 yards and 15 touchdowns. He has only thrown five interceptions and rushed for 221 yards.

Oregon's biggest playmaker is running back Kenjon Barner. The senior has been tearing up the Pac-12 this season, rushing for 727 yards and nine touchdowns. He also has added 11 receptions for 111 yards and a touchdown. Against Washington last Saturday he rushed for 122 yards and he could break out big this week against an Arizona State team that is ranked 38th in the nation in rushing defense.

Last week the team had its bye week and now faces six consecutive weeks of games, including four on the road.

"It is good for everyone to get back to 100 percent and get ready to play Arizona State," said Mariota, who threw four touchdowns against Washington.

According to ESPN.com, "Oregon has outscored Arizona State 175-81 during a four-game winning streak in Tempe. Oregon has scored at least 41 points in each of the last four meetings."

Arizona State is 5-1 and is in first place in the Pac-12 South division.

"We can't have any mishaps or anything like that," Sun Devils safety Chris Young told Arizona State's official website. "The only thing that goes through my mind is preparation and determination. We just need to find a way to win when we play Oregon."

The most impressive win for Oregon this season came against then-No. 22 ranked Arizona in which the Ducks won 49-0. Later this season the team will face off against highly ranked opponents USC, Stanford and Oregon State to close the season.

The final game against the Beavers could end up having Pac-12 title game implications if both team remain undefeated.
