Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly addresses the media for the first time as an NFL coach."

Running back DeMarco Murray knows that a lot of eyes are on him this season; his challenge proving he is the best running back in the NFL.

Murray led the league in rushing last year so the champ must be thrilled about the ability to really showcase his abilities and "win" in Philadelphia. At least that is how it seemed until training camp started. Murray was a bit taken aback by the fact that some days he would not be the main guy in the offense. In Dallas he was the main guy because the Cowboys ran him into the ground, the Eagles are being smart because they have to be.

Both Ryan Matthews and Murray cost a large chunk of change and any injury to these injury prone running backs would be a significant setback. The Philadelphia media seemed to think Murray was injured because of how limited his reps have been in practice, but in truth Murray did not know why either. Murray stated

"No, I'm fine, I'm fine. That's how it goes some days. I think some guys get more reps one day, then get less reps. I guess it's part of the deal. ... That's how it goes. I don't know whose decision it was. You're always upset when you don't get a chance to go out there and compete and really take a little pressure off the other guys. Obviously wanted to be out there."

The Philadelphia media is already paranoid that Murray is going to get injured so it makes sense that his coaches are as well. Without Murray the Eagle's running back situation is very limited and neither Ryan Matthews nor Darren Sproles should be taking the brunt of the ground game any time soon.

This leaves the Eagles worrying about the same things the Cowboys worried about last season which is not exactly a great spot to be in. Murray's healthy will be directly correlated to Darren Sproles and Ryan Matthews, if they can stay healthy so can Murray. Limiting Murray's snaps will hold off the damage any lead back really sustains, but if he has to take a larger workload lookout for that injury bug.
