The Giants coaches and ownership have been a lot more vocal about Jason Pierre Paul and what he should do next.

Giant's owner John Mara had this to say about JPP "Well, the first thought and concern we all had was for JPP's well-being, after that, I think I may have used some language that I wouldn't like my grandchildren to hear me use. I could not believe; that here we haven't even gone to training camp yet and we've lost two starters one in the weight room and one to a fireworks accident. So it was more of a state of disbelief that I was in. I've been around a long time, seen a lot of things but this one was a shock. "I don't think JPP is receiving very good advice right now, he has told people that he's fine and he's going to be ready to play, but until we see the hand, we're just not sure."

Tom Coughlin had this to say about the JPP situation, "It was Sunday afternoon, the fifth. That afternoon, I think (GM) Jerry (Reese) was the first one to text me. I texted Jason right away. I just said, "How can I help you?" But I didn't hear anything back, so. And really there has been very little information even to this point in time."

The Giants have been absolutely caught off guard with JPP at every decision and statement he has made, with no answer in sight it seems as they have taken a wait and see approach. Even now it lacks any type of sense to not have your own team, the team that drafted you, look at your injuries and help you rebuild. JPP obviously prefers whoever has been guiding him through this process instead of the team that has helped guide him through his professional career. The only way the Giants will get any clarity is when JPP arrives to training camp and is examined by a team doctor.
