Junior Galette is on the move, he is reportedly meeting with the Washington Redskins on Thursday. This makes perfect sense however the team with the most offensive name meeting a player who will about to be suspended for his offensive actions. No one even knows how the NFL will respond to Galette's numerous off the field issues but it is assumed a suspension is coming, possibly for the entire season.
The Redskins cannot help but look at Galette who is a very productive player on the field and can easily help their defense in ways their own linebackers cannot. It is natural to assume that the Redskins want to make an offer however it will be hard hammering out a contract before a suspension is given. Galette would be replacing Brian Orakpo former Redskins now Tennessee Titans linebacker.
Galette will have to give his services at a discounted rate thanks in part to a torn rotator cuff injury he has been rehabbing from and his numerous off the field issues. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have also been interested in Galette however it seems as if the worst teams in each conference would have a need for the embattled pass rusher. Washington is on the top of Galette's list and if the Redskins will have him, he may never leave.
