San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Anquan Boldin (81) catches a pass for a touchdown over Seattle Seahawks free safety Earl Thomas (29) in the third quarter of the 2013 NFC Championship football game at CenturyLink Field."

The Seattle Seahawks have relaxed slightly as they got the news that Earl Thomas will most likely be ready for week one of the 2015 NFL season.

Thomas suffered a torn labrum in February and has not had any setbacks in his rehabilitation. The recovery time for this injury is typically a very long process but Thomas is not your average NFL player. He played in the Super Bowl XLIX with a dislocated shoulder and a torn labrum, which not many people would or could do. Thomas is the Seahawks leading man in the leading man in the Legion of Boom and there is no real depth behind him.

If Thomas is unable to go then the Seahawks will have to sign a free agent place holder for the star safety. Thomas has never missed a game in his five year career and I am sure, does not plan to miss one now. The Seahawk's brass has said that they will be patient with Thomas's recovery and want to make sure the best version of himself is on the field come game day.

If Thomas does not get medically cleared for week 1 then it is likely he will make his return either the next week or week 3.
