The NBA trade market could see names like DeMarcus Cousins, Jose Calderon, Nick Young, Brandon Jennings, Kenneth Faried, Rudy Gay and Ryan Anderson traded this year depending on how the season goes and teams like the LA Lakers, Boston Celtics, NY Knicks, Sacramento Kings, Denver Nuggets, Houston Rockets and Detroit Pistons could be interested in making moves.

The trade rumor mill has died down with free agency, but once the season gets going later in the year some bigger names could move. Roy Hibbert was traded this summer along with David Lee, Ty Lawson and Perry Jones and the most talked about player was not traded, as DeMarcus Cousins remains with the Kings. George Karl reportedly pushed a deal for Cousins this summer and that did not sit well with the front office.

The Kings appear to be keeping Cousins for the time being, but there is a chance a deal could happen later on. According to the Sacramento Bee, a deal for Cousins "remains on the table" and it could be an option in the future if Karl and Cousins cannot mend their relationship. Karl said to Yahoo Sports that he is not expecting any issues moving forward with Cousins and that it's not something "we have to rush through." The Lakers and Kings discussed a framework for a deal at the draft and LA remains the top option even after the team added Hibbert.

Cousins is staying in Sacramento for now, but if the team tanks it again and has a bad start to the season, Cousins could be a target to get moved. The Lakers have been mentioned in other trade talks as well, as Nick Young has come up in rumors this summer. The Lakers were trying to free up some cap space and the team felt Young would be a good option to move, as the team signed Lou Williams this summer. According to Bill Oram of the Orange County Register, the Lakers have not been able to find a deal for Young and will keep him for now.

The Lakers have been connected with a few moves, as the team also reportedly is interested in Brendan Haywood with the Cavs. Haywood has an unguaranteed contract and if he is traded within the month, whatever team has him can clear his $10.5 million deal. Young reportedly was an option for the Cavs, as the team also was looking into Jamal Crawford and Joe Johnson for more offense, but the two sides did not come close to a deal.

Jose Calderon is likely going to come up in trade talks this season, as the Knicks have Jerian Grant coming in at point guard and also could look at adding another player from the Summer League roster. The team shopped Calderon last season and they ended up trading Pablo Prigioni and now Calderon could be a target again.

The Nuggets just traded Ty Lawson and if they look at resetting this season, Kenneth Faried could be a trade target at the deadline. The Pistons just added Reggie Jackson on a major deal and they were interested in Lawson and that could mean Brandon Jennings is on his way out of Detroit soon. The Kings could look at moving Gay at the deadline if things do not go as planned this season.
