LeBron James is arguably the best player on the planet with a basketball in his hands. His ability to play all five positions and still have an impact on a game is a rare quality that has been rarely seen in the NBA.

LeBron's recent success can be credited to his improved post game last season, and now it seems another Superstar is following in the steps of LeBron to help elevate his game.

According to Darnell Mayberry of The Oklahoman, Kevin Durant plans to work on his post moves and really make an effort on adding more size and strength.

"I hope so," Durant told The Oklahoman when told he looked bigger. "I guess we'll know when we start banging during the season. But I feel a little bigger, and coach is going to put me down low a little bit more at the 4 so I've got to be stronger to guard those guys. I'm just looking forward to doing as much as I can to help this team."

This news adds more excitement to how the future of the league will be when you think about it.

When comparing LeBron to Durant, there are significant differences in the way they play the game.

When LeBron has the basketball in his hands there's little a defender can do to stop him. His physical size is his biggest weapon as he can seemingly score at will. When he attacks the basket it's almost guaranteed that he's either going to score, get sent to the free throw line or both.

Durant, on the other hand, becomes a problem for defenders in much different ways.

Durant's 7-foot wingspan makes him the scoring machine that he is, thus being the reason why he's managed to win the NBA scoring title in three consecutive years. Durant is one of the most accurate shooters in the league, and the fact that he has such a high release benefits him in more ways than one.

But if Durant bulks up and really develops a solid post game, in a few years he will replace LeBron as the best player in the league.

With size and post moves, Durant will have so many different ways to beat you. He will be like LeBron, but better.

I say this solely because Durant's jump shot is really that pure. If you add increased strength to his game, there will be no stopping him.

He will be able to beat you three ways; off the dribble, off screens and by attacking the basket. The fact that he already shoots better than LeBron will be the reason he'll be the league's best.

With LeBron entering his prime and Durant focused on improving, their rivalry will be the best thing for the game.

I predict a Larry Bird and Magic Johnson type rivalry in the coming years.
