The Philadelphia Eagles have several position battles preparing to take place in training camp. While all eyes will be on the quarterback play and the health of Sam Bradford, there are other players fighting for their spot on the depth chart. The wide receiver group will be a battle to pay attention to. After the departures of DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin, the Eagles will be operating with much different rotation that is not yet set in stone.

After being drafted in the first round, Nelson Agholor is looking to be inserted as a starter for the team immediately. The Eagles leading receiver will likely be Jordan Matthews considering his success as a rookie, but the no.2 spot is wide open and Agholor wants to take it. According to NJ.com, the praise for Agholor has been coming in from all around as many believe he will develop into the No.1 guy.

"He'll come in and produce right away,'' an opposing team executive said, via NJ.com. "He has the right mentality and just a great approach to the game. He's going to help them. And in that offense, he'll put up numbers. I look at Matthews as a good receiver, very solid in every aspect, but not a No. 1 guy. Agholor is a No. 1. So now Matthews won't have that pressure on him. They'll be good together.''

Agholor is competing with Josh Huff and Riley Cooper for top spots in the rotation. CSN Philadelphia is reporting that all of the wide receivers along with tight end Zach Ertz have been impressing in OTAs and mini camp. While the Eagles were criticized for letting go of most of their offensive fire power, the players brought in appear ready to produce immediately. That will certainly help escalate the quarterback battle between Bradford and Mark Sanchez.

According to ESPN's Phil Sheridan, there will be a competition for the starting quarterback job even though Bradford is expected to be under center Week 1. Sanchez will be given every chance to prove he is worthy of the spot. Injuries will play a factor. Bradford was heavily limited in practice during offseason workouts. The Eagles are uncertain exactly what his status is for training camp. Meanwhile, Sanchez has his eyes on starting after doing so in eight games last season. The quarterback signed a contract extension with the idea that he would be starting in 2015.
