The NBA playoffs standings in the finals has the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors set for the championship and the series starts on Thursday, June 4 and all TV coverage will be on ABC from ESPN and streaming on the WatchESPN website as LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Kyrie Irving kick things off at Oracle Arena in Oakland.

The first game of the series is on Thursday after a week-long break from the conference finals and now both teams will be rested and ready to go. Kyrie Irving needed time off to heal up and the first game starts at 9 pm ET at Golden State. The Warriors host game 2 and that will be on Sunday, June 7 with a tip-off time of 8 pm ET.

The series will shift to Cleveland after the first two games and Game 3 and Game 4 will be from Quicken Loans Arena on Tuesday, June 9 and Thursday, June 11. The Warriors and Cavs come in after doing quick work in the NBA conference finals and that should set up a good series for the championship. James is the anointed best player in the league, while Stephen Curry comes in after winning MVP and showing how great he is this season. The battle should be very good between those players and between the two teams.

The Cavs finished second in the east, while the Warriors were best in the west and first overall in wins in the NBA, including in wins at home. Cleveland was also very good at home and the Cavs will try very hard to steal at least one game in the first two matchups in California. James and the Cavs have the chance to bring a title to Cleveland for the first time in 50 years, while the Warriors have not won a title in four decades.
