The English Premier League schedule ends next week and Chelsea has already clinched the title on the table standings, while Arsenal is now ahead of Manchester United heading into the last game and that could be enough to clinch a spot in the Champions League without dealing with the playoffs, while Manchester City is behind the Blues and Liverpool is in fifth place.

Chelsea clinched the title earlier in the season after leading the Barclays table all year and they are into the Champions League once again. The team won the trophy by simply being the best team in the EPL, going months without a defeat to take a lead in the standings. Jose Mourinho kept his team confident through the year and the club was one of the most consistent in all of England through the schedule.

Chelsea has 84 points on the league table standings ahead of Manchester City, who has 76 points heading into the final week. Man City is leading Arsenal and Manchester United in the standings and they are in the top four along with Chelsea. Arsenal and Man United played on Sunday at Old Trafford and they played to a 1-1 draw and now the Gunners are in third ahead of United on the table standings.

The three-four spot is the most intriguing thing left going into the final week, but now it looks like the Gunners will be able to hold on. Arsenal comes in with 71 points and they are two ahead of Manchester United, while Liverpool is in fifth. The Reds have a one point lead over Tottenham and the Spurs are in sixth place ahead of Southampton. The table takes a jump after that with Swansea City four back.

Hull City and Newcastle are fighting to stay out of relegation and they are ahead of Burnley and QPR on the table standings. Burnley and Queens Park have 30 points at the bottom of the standings, while Hull City has 34 points and Newcastle has 36 points. Tottenham is in sixth ahead of Liverpool, while Southampton, Swansea City, Stoke City, Everton and West Ham are next in the standings.

Crystal Palace comes in at 12th on the league standings and they have 45 points ahead of West Brom, who has 41 points. Leicester City comes in ahead of Aston Villa and Sunderland, while Newcastle is in 17th place. Southampton won big on Sunday against Aston Villa with a 6-1 score and some of the other results had Sunderland 0-0 with Leicester, while Burnley and Stoke City played to an 0-0 draw. Liverpool fell to Crystal Palace and Everton won over West Ham, while Tottenham gave Hull City a 2-0 loss.

Championship Day has a bit of the luster taken out of it with Chelsea already winning the title. Last year the end of the season was great with Liverpool and Man City coming down to the wire.
