Los Angeles Clippers power forward Blake Griffin (32) drives the ball to the basket on San Antonio Spurs center Tiago Splitter (22) in the second half during Game 4 of their NBA Western Conference semi-final playoff basketball game in Los Angeles, California, May 20, 2012. "

The Los Angeles Lakers with their revamped roster have been the talk of the NBA world this offseason garnishing up many different opinions and reactions about how this will affect the balance of power within the NBA.

Well not to be out done, the other L.A. based team has made some impressive moves of their own like teammate Chauncy Billups, Clippers forward Blake Griffin isn't ready to hand them the crown of the Western Conference just yet.

Like Billups, Griffin says the new look Lakers are impressive, but admits looks can be deceiving.

On paper it looks great," Griffin said during a recent visit to Norman. "People said the same thing when we got C.P., Chris Paul. But they still got to go out there and play."

Griffin said the Lakers' additions of Howard and Nash make them just one of many talented teams, not necessarily the favorite to win it all this season.

"I think there's a lot of tough teams in the Western Conference. There's one right here (in Oklahoma City) that the Lakers have to get over," Griffin said. "The Spurs have been a good team for the past 500 years. And I think we're preparing for that. So that's kind of what you expect people to do. You expect them to hand out the trophy in the middle of the summer. So we're not worried about that. We're not worried about just the Lakers."

With the additions of Lamar Odom, Grant Hill, Jamal Crawford and Matt Barnes to the Clippers roster, Griffin says he's "very excited" about where the additions have placed the Clippers but added that Howard's arrival in Los Angeles have overshadowed those and others around the league.

"There's a lot of great teams and a lot of good talent as well," Griffin said. "It's funny because the Heat have managed to somehow fly under the radar this summer and they added Ray Allen. So we can't forget about all these other teams. We can't worry about just the Lakers."
