Quarterback Sam Bradford #8 of the St. Louis Rams is helped off the field by trainers after being injured during a preseason game against the Cleveland Browns on August 23, 2014 at FirstEnergy Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio. St. Louis won 33-14. Bradford would be diagnosed with a torn ACL and will miss the remainder of the season. "

The Philadelphia Eagles may look at a Sam Bradford trade this offseason, as the Cleveland Browns could still be interested in the quarterback and this comes after the team reportedly offered the Tampa Bay Buccaneers a "big" package for the top pick so that the team could draft Marcus Mariota and this comes as Bradford is seeking a contract extension.

The talk about Mariota to the Eagles was around all offseason, but now it obviously is clear that he will be with the Titians long term. But the Eagles did explore some deals, as Pro Football Talk reports that the Eagles "made big offer" to the Bucs for the top overall pick and the package included selections and players. The report says that Bradford along with two first round picks and a player was offered to the Buccaneers.

Tampa clearly wanted Winston and they did not consider the deal from the Eagles, as they stayed put at the top pick. Chip Kelly came out and said that Bradford would not be traded earlier in the offseason, but the reports from various media outlets show that it was a possibility. Bradford is looking for a contract extension and according to Pro Football Talk, it could get done at some point this offseason. The report lists Lane Johnson or Fletcher Cox as the potential players that could have been in the deal with the Bucs.

The Philadelphia Eagles have been the most active team in the NFL this offseason and after signing Tim Tebow, the team could look at a trade with the Cleveland Browns involving Sam Bradford. The Browns are expected to go after Bradford again and even with the draft in Day 2, the teams could consider making a move after Kelly missed out on get his old Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota in the draft.

The Eagles traded for Sam Bradford this offseason and while Chip Kelly has been public about Bradford being acquired to start, talk about moving him has continued. According to Pro Football Talk, coaches around the league and many in the media think that Kelly could be interested in making a move with Bradford and that he could trade with the Browns to do it. The team just signed Tim Tebow and reports have Matt Barkley on the trade block, which could bring in another draft pick to use later on.

The Cleveland Browns have had reported interest in trading for Bradford and that could be one move Kelly makes if he wants to try and get another starter. Now that Mariota is with the Titans, he may drop any thoughts of moving Bradford. Kelly coached Mariota at Oregon and he could have been a good fit for his offensive scheme. The Browns had two first round picks in the draft, but they did not end up making a trade.

Earlier in the offseason, Mike Florio at Pro Football Talk reported that the Eagles could try and work a "three-way trade" to get Mariota if they didn't make a direct deal with the Titans. The Browns, Jets, Bears, Chargers and Eagles all reportedly had interest in Mariota, but the Titans ended up taking him at number two overall.
