The NFL draft is into Round 2 and some of the best available players left include names like Bryce Petty, Brett Hundley, Garrett Grayson and Jaelen Strong and those names could be targets for the Cleveland Browns, Buffalo Bills, New York Jets, New Orleans Saints and Chicago Bears on the second day of the draft.

Petty is considered by many to be the third best quarterback in the draft and that means he could be next off the board at the position. Jameis Winston was taken number one by the Buccaneers and Marcus Mariota went next to the Tennessee Titans. The Eagles never made the trade up that everyone expected and the Browns did not make a move either.

The Browns had two first round picks and they have been mentioned as a potential landing spot for Petty. The team has Johnny Manziel and Josh McCown, but they could be a fit for another QB. The Jets also have a need at the position, as they may not be totally sold on Geno smith. The team met with Petty and Garret Grayson and they also worked out Brett Hundley ahead of the draft.

According to Pro Football Talk, the Saints see Petty as a starter in the future and he could be groomed as the replacement for Drew Brees. The Buffalo Bills met with Bryce Petty ahead of the NFL draft and he could be a main target for Rex Ryan along with Brett Hundley, Garrett Grayson and Shane Carden, as the team could bring in some competition to start alongside Matt Cassel and EJ Manuel for the 2015 season.

The Bills traded for Cassel this offseason, but he is considered a bridge starter at best and with Manuel not developing much the past couple years, it could be time for a new "QB of the future" in Buffalo. Ryan takes over after spending years with the Jets and he was never given a great quarterback and now he could look at trying to find one on his own. The team appears comfortable using Cassel this season, but moving forward they may want some competition with Manuel.

According to Pro Football Talk, the Bills met with Petty last Tuesday and it comes after he has met with numerous other teams, including the Jets, Browns and Cowboys. Petty put up strong numbers at Baylor and he is considered by most to be the third best quarterback in the draft behind Jameis Winston and Marcus Mariota.

Doug Whaley has said that the team will look at second day quarterbacks and players in the later rounds as options and that could make Petty and Hundley targets. The team traded up for Sammy Watkins last season, which led Whaley to say that trading up is unlikely this year.

The Bills don't have a first round pick after moving it in the Browns deal for Watkins and that means they could look at Petty in the middle rounds. The team picks at 50 overall for their first pick and they may not want to take a QB that quickly. Petty could be off the board by then, but if he remains he could be an option for Buffalo.
