The Orlando Magic are targeting some high profile names to take over as head coach of the team, as Tom Thibodeau, Billy Donovan and Scott Skiles have emerged as potential options with the regular season over.

According to Marc Stein at ESPN.com, sources report that the Magic have had "informal discussions" with Skiles about the job and the team is also interested in Donovan and Thibodeau. Earlier in the season there were reports that Thibodeau could be out in Chicago after the playoffs, while Donovan reportedly is interested in coming to the NBA from college.

Thibodeau and the Bulls front office have not always seen eye to eye and this could be the year that the team decides to move on. Brian K. Schmitz of the Orlando Sentinel wrote on Wednesday that "former Sacramento Kings coach Michael Malone 'would love to coach' the Magic."

Thibodeau is still under contract and the best chance for the Magic would be to get him if he is fired or parts ways with the Bulls. Donovan has flirted with the NBA in the past and many around the league think this could be the time that he will actually make the jump. Donovan and Orlando have a history after the Magic nearly brought him in and he opted to go back to Florida.

The Magic went 25-57 this season and finished fifth in the southwest division. The team has a ton of young talent, including players like Victor Oladipo, Aaron Gordon and Elfrid Payton.
