Chicago Bears Rumors: Kevin White Drafted if Jay Cutler, Marcus Mariota Trade Denied? Amari Cooper, DeVante Parker Options for Alshon Jeffery, Matt Forte

The Chicago Bears might be getting linked to quarterback rumors heading into the NFL Draft, but they are spending more time working out position players which may be their Plan B option. According to Jason Cole of Bleacher Report, the Bears want to trade Cutler to the Tennessee Titans in exchange for the No. 2 draft pick and Marcus Mariota. However, if the deal fails the Bears need another option and it could be a wide receiver.

According to Pro Football Talk, the Bears are taking interest in Kevin White who has a pre-draft visit lined up with the team. The West Virginia star is one of the top two receivers in the draft alongside Amari Cooper and is expected to go in the first 10 picks. White and Cooper are interchangeable according to ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr as both players are NFL ready immediately. The Bears have eye both players since both the Oakland Raiders and Jacksonville Jaguars are eyeing receivers in the draft as well.

The Bears need a wide receiver early. The team traded away Brandon Marshall in the offseason and now have Alshon Jeffery as their go-to guy along with Eddie Royal who signed in free agency. If Jay Cutler or any quarterback for Chicago is going to be successful, they need a top running back. Despite suspicion from the Chicago Tribune, the Bears are not dealing Matt Forte which makes the team's run game set, but their receiving group leaves something to be desired.

The Bears first priority appears to be acquiring Mariota who the team views as the potential future of the franchise. Cole reported that the Bears are hoping the Titans favor a veteran quarterback over drafting a rookie for the second year in a row. Titans head coach Ken Whisenhunt does like older, experienced quarterbacks having worked with Philip Rivers and Kurt Warner. Tennessee has been supportive of Zach Mettenberger and his future with the team, but they have also eyed Mariota as an option. ESPN's Todd McShay reports the Titans will not deal Cutler and will draft Mariota instead. However, if a better offer is made the team could easily deal down.
