The Tampa Bay Buccaneers may trade Mike Glennon this offseason after drafting Jameis Winston and teams like the Cleveland Browns, NY Jets, Buffalo Bills and Tennessee Titans could be interested in making a move, as the Bucs new regime wants to get some extra draft picks and if they go quarterback number one overall, Glennon could be expendable.

According to ESPN.com reporter Pat Yasinskas, the Buccaneers are likely considering trading Glennon if they draft a quarterback with the number one overall pick. Jameis Winston reportedly is the favorite for the number one pick, but the team has also met with Marcus Mariota and Dante Fowler. Glennon played in six games last season and had 10 touchdowns and six interceptions and now he could be a target for teams like the Browns, Jets or Bills.

The Buccaneers released Josh McCown this offseason and with Winston the likely pick, Tampa Bay could move Glennon for a mid round selection. According to Jeremy Fowler at ESPN, the Browns "sniffed around" on Glennon this offseason and they could continue to look at quarterbacks in the draft. The Browns have Johnny Manziel and McCown, but GM Ray Farmer said that the team could take another quarterback this year.

The Jets reportedly are interested in Marcus Mariota and if they miss out on him in the draft, Glennon could be an option for the team. Mike Francesa has said multiple times on his radio show that Glennon would be a good low risk option for the team compared to Jay Cutler or Philip Rivers. The team likely would only have to give up a mid-round pick for Glennon. For a new head coach and GM in Todd Bowles and Mike Maccagnan, the low risk and high upside regarding Glennon would not be a huge deal if he fails if they only gave up a mid round pick.

Winston is coming in with some baggage, but the Buccaneers have said that they are comfortable with Winston as the top pick. Mariota is considered to be the second overall quarterback in the draft and he could be gone very quickly if the Bucs pass on him. The Bucs are not guaranteed to trade Glennon, but it's a very likely option if they take Winston. The Bills have Matt Cassel but they also could be interested in Glennon if he is on the trade block.

The draft is in less than a month and with a few weeks to go, all major mock drafts have Winston going number one to the Buccaneers. Mariota is getting plenty of interest, including from the Browns, Jets and Bears as well as the Chargers.
