The Seattle Sounders and Houston Dynamo are playing on the MLS schedule on Saturday night and the Major League Soccer game is from CenturyLink Field in Washington as the two teams meet in a western conference matchup at 10 pm ET.
The Dynamo are back in the west and they matchup with one of the top teams in the Sounders and it will be very tough for the team to win away in Seattle. The Sounders come in after a draw with Dallas and they are looking to get into the win column at home and their last matchup was a boring one. Amazingly the scoreless draw had no shots on goal and that was the first time in league history that has happened, according to MLS.com.
The Dynamo come in after a scoreless game with the Colorado Rapids and Houston will try and win for the first time in Seattle. The team has had two shutouts in the last four games, but they have not scored in two of those as well and they now will try and get things going on the road. The two teams have each won at their home stadiums against each other and last year the only time the teams played was in Seattle in August, which was a 2-0 win against the Dynamo.
DC United comes in leading the Red Bulls and the New England Revolution in the east standings, while Dallas is leading the west. The Vancouver Whitecaps are second in the west and they are ahead of the Earthquakes, while Houston is in sixth place and the Sounders are in eighth place. The Sounders did not have Clint Dempsey last week and they are hoping that he will be back in the lineup after dealing with a hamstring.
