The Chicago Bulls and Milwaukee Bucks are playing live on the NBA schedule on Wednesday night and the game is live from the BMO Harris Bradley Center in Wisconsin as Pau Gasol and Joakim Noah take on Michael Carter-Williams and the Bucks with the playoffs getting very close this season.

The Bulls come into the game after a win against the Knicks on Saturday and that matchup comes ahead of the Bucks and Pistons. The team saw Nikola Mirotic lead with 24 points while Pau Gasol had 12 rebounds and coming up the team will have a tough three game road trip. The Bulls play against the Cavaliers, Magic and Miami Heat on the road before matchups with the Sixers and Nets. The team will play three of four on the road after playing the Bucks and Pistons.

The Bulls have dealt with numerous injuries this season, including to Derrick Rose and Jimmy Butler, but Rose is on his way back and Butler has returned. Rose had knee surgery in February and he has started to work out and practice and he could be back in the lineup before the playoffs start. Butler has been the best player for the Bulls this season along with Gasol and he returned after missing 11 games while dealing with an elbow issue.

Butler is averaging over 20 points per game this season and he will be the main target for the team once the summer hits. Butler is a restricted free agent and while the Bulls want to keep him, other teams surely will be targeting him. Aaron Brooks likely will start again for Rose and the Bucks comes in after a loss against the Atlanta Hawks and a loss against the Warriors. The team had won two in a row, but now they have dropped the last two.

The Cavaliers have stormed ahead in the central division standings and while things are close, the Cavs likely will have the title. The Bucks are in the sixth spot in the east and they likely will remain in the mix and the Bulls come into things behind the Cavs in the standings. The Bulls have won three straight games and have only lost once in the last six, but they have only won one in the last four games on the road during this stretch.

Gasol had 19 points and 12 rebounds for the Bulls against the Knicks and his signing has been transformative for the team this season. Rose could be back in the lineup soon and he comes in after getting back into contact and head coach Tom Thibodeau said the team will not rush back Rose and he will be back when he is ready.
