The Miami Dolphins are coming into the NFL draft with wide receiver as a main target of need and players like DeVante Parker, Breshad Perriman, Dorial Green-Beckham, Jaelen Strong and Kevin White could be potential options to join Ryan Tannehill on offense and this comes as the team met with Stevan Ridley and hosted Michael Crabtree this offseason.

The Dolphins have made a number of changes this offseason, especially at wide receiver, where three of their top players from last season are no longer with the team. The Dolphins traded Mike Wallace and released both Brian Hartline and Brandon Gibson, meaning Tannehill has to get in step with some new faces. Jarvis Landry returns after a strong rookie season and the team also has Rishard Matthews, but James Walker at ESPN.com writes that the Dolphins likely will look at adding more depth moving forward.

Walker reports that the team has hosted DeVante Parker on a pre-draft visit and they also have looked at Breshad Perriman as a potential target. The team has the number 14 pick in the draft and there is a good chance a quality WR will be there, as the class of receivers is considered deep this year. The team also is considering free agent options, as Michael Crabtree has been in for a visits and Greg Jennings has also had some interest. Hakeem Nicks and Reggie Wayne are also available as veteran options and could come on the cheaper side.

Parker is considered to be one of the top mid-range first round targets and the Cleveland Browns reportedly are interested in taking him if he is on the board at 12. Walker listed some names that could fall to 14 or could be available in the later rounds, including Perriman, Dorial Green-Beckham, Jaelen Strong, Kevin White, Nelson Agholor and Justin Hardy. Green-Beckham could be an option in the second round if he slips, as he has some off the field issues but is considered to be a top talent.

Todd McShay had Perriman going to the Dolphins in his latest mock draft and that had Parker going in the top 12 picks. Perriman might be a reach at 14, but with the numbers he put up in his latest workout, there is a chance he could sneak into that top 15 of the first round. According to ESPN.com, Perriman is coming in for a visit with the Detroit Lions and it comes after he ran a strong 40-time at his pro day at sub sub-4.30, which is very fast for a WR.

Perriman comes in after making 50 catches for over 1000 yards last season and he had 16 touchdowns in his time at UCF. Strong is a player to keep an eye on later in the draft along with Green-Beckham, who could have great value if he slips.

The Dolphins hosted Stevan Ridley for a visit and he also is visiting with the Jets, according to ESPN.com. Ridley previously played four seasons with the Patriots and was part of a rotation at running back over the last two years. The Dolphins know Ridley well from his time with the Patriots and he could be an option to add depth with Knowshon Moreno not returning. The team has Lamar Miller and LaMichael James along with Damian Williams and Ridley could be a sold third string option.
