Chelsea Rumors and News: Petr Cech Plans Move With Thibaut Courtois Starter, Real Madrid, Liverpool Options?

Chelsea has been leading the English Premier League all season and they have received some strong play in net from young star Thibaut Courtois and that likely means Petr Cech will be on the move after this season and he could be a target for Real Madrid, Liverpool, other Premier League teams or the Bundesliga.

According to Pro Soccer Talk, Cech spoke with Sky Sports while training for the upcoming international friendlies and he said that he "doesn't want another one (season)" serving as the backup. Cech was asked about a potential offer from Real Madrid that could come, while PST speculated that Liverpool or another Premier League team could also look at Cech as a target.

The 32-year-old has only started four games in the Premier League after Courtois was elevated to the number one spot. Cech has played in other competitions for Chelsea, but it has been Courtois who has been the started in nearly all Premier League games. Chelsea has Premier League matches against Manchester United, Arsenal and Stoke City coming up and they were eliminated in the Champions League round of 16 by Paris Saint-Germain.

"I don't know what the club's idea will be. It looks like it works well with me and Thibaut as a duo. But that can work for one season only. I don't want another one like this," Cech said, according to Sky Sports.

The Czech Republic has a matchup coming against Latvia in European qualifying on the schedule and they currently lead their group. The team has a six point lead over the Netherlands and they should be able to get through the tournament at this rate.
