LA Angels vs. Chicago Cubs Live Stream: Watch Online Streaming MLB Spring Training Game

The LA Angels and Chicago Cubs are playing live on the MLB Spring Training schedule on Thursday night and the matchup is live on ESPN and streaming from the WatchESPN website online as Los Angeles visits the Cubbies in Cactus League play and both teams are expecting to be contenders this season in their leagues.

The Angels come into the game after a win against the Cleveland Indians and they will play next against the Diamondbacks after the matchup with the Cubs. The team was first in the league in runs and sixth in batting average last season and Mike Trout won the MVP. The team is expecting more from Trout with Josh Hamilton dealing with his issues and they also are looking for the pitching to bounce back after a tough season.

The offense was one of the best in baseball and while the Angels easily won the AL West last season, this year they will have some tough competition from the Mariners. Seattle added Nelson Cruz to a lineup with Robinson Cano and Kyle Seager and Felix Hernandez comes back after he should have won the Cy Young last season but ended up in second place.

The Cubs come into the game after a loss to the Mariners and that saw Taijuan Walker get his groove on and he could be the fifth starter for the team this season. Dominic Leone got the save and now the Cubs will try and bounce back against the Angels. The team next plays against the Chicago White Sox and they come in with some high expectations this season. Kris Bryant leads the spring in home runs and the team signed Jon Lester to be the ace and now they are eyeing the playoffs.
