Raheem Sterling of Liverpool is challenged by Jack Cork of Swansea during the Barclays Premier League match between Swansea City and Liverpool at Liberty Stadium on March 16, 2015 in Swansea, Wales. "

Liverpool star Raheem Sterling could be on his way out of Anfield if he can't come to an agreement on a new contract in the future and Manchester United manager Manuel Pellegrini says that Sterling could cost up to $150 million for any interested teams and those may include Chelsea, Manchester City and Real Madrid.

According to ESPN FC, Pellegrini was asked about James Milner and his possible exit from Man City and Sterling came up soon after that. Pellegrini said that Sterling would likely cost over $150 million to pry him away from Liverpool and this comes as he has not been able to agree on a new contract with the Reds. Sterling is one of the top English players and he is just 20 years old and has shown a ton of potential while playing for Liverpool.

Sterling reportedly has had a contract "on the table" for months, but he has not yet signed a deal. According to the Daily Mail, Sterling likely will be looking for a deal that is as good or better as Daniel Sturridge and if he ends up leaving the Reds, teams will be lining up to acquire him. The report says that Sterling's contract talks will be held off until the end of the season and that Real Madrid "is keeping tabs" on the situation with Liverpool.

Sterling's deal runs through 2017 and the team would like to lock him up before it gets closer to the end of the deal. According to the Daily Mail, Sterling rejected a five-year deal of £100,000 per week and this comes as Sturridge is making £150,000 per week. Sterling started his career with Queens Park before signing with Liverpool in 2010.
