The Oregon Ducks and Arizona Wildcats are playing live on the Pac-12 tournament schedule and the game is live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas as the two teams battle for the conference championship and it starts at 11 pm ET on ESPN and streaming on the WatchESPN website online and the Cats come in ranked fifth in the nation.
The Wildcats come in after winning over UCLA and they will now matchup with the Ducks for the conference title. The team got 24 points from Brandon Ashley and they saw Rondae Hollis-Jefferson lead with 12 rebounds. The team went 30-3 during the season and they are 16-2 in the conference and they were ranked 23rd in the nation with 76 points per game this season.
Stanley Johnson is leading the team in scoring and rebounds per game this season and he will be key if the team wants to win this matchup. Oregon comes in with some motivation and the last time the two teams played was back in January when Arizona won big 90-56 and that was at home. Arizona won in Eugene earlier in the season and they have not lost a game since early February. The team has won 10 games in a row and they won over Cal and UCLA in their first two matchups of the tournament.
Oregon comes in after winning over Utah and they are 25-8 on the season and they went 13-5 in conference play. Oregon comes in after winning a close game with Utah and they have Joseph Young coming in after leading the team in scoring, assists and rebounds with 25 points, three dimes and four boards. The team was ranked 25th in scoring this season with 76 points per game and they have won seven games in a row.
The team won over Colorado and Utah in the tournament and they ended the season with wins against the Buffaloes, Utah, Cal, Stanford and Oregon State after losing to UCLA. The team won nine of 10 to end the season with just a loss to the Bruins in that mix and before that they last lost to Arizona. The team was blown out by the Wildcats on the road and now they get the chance for some revenge.
