Greg Hardy is going to be a free agent when the league year begins and while he could be suspended, teams like the Dallas Cowboys, Cleveland Browns, Buccaneers, Seattle Seahawks and Vikings could be interested in signing him, as the Carolina Panthers will likely not have him return in 2015 after his rape case and legal issues.
According to Pro Football Talk, the NFL says that Hardy can sign a deal while on the exempt list and right now there is no official clarification of his status. The NFL may suspend Hardy for some time as punishment despite the fact that rape charges were dropped against him, according to ESPN.com. The league said that there is "nothing to prevent" Hardy from signing with a team if he is on the list and that means he likely will be a target.
