The Atlanta Hawks might be winning games, but they are not looking overly impressive while doing so. The team is struggling with turnovers which kept the Orlando Magic in the game on Friday night. Head coach Mike Budenholzer stressed that if the Hawks were going to remain contenders, that needed to change and they can start on the road against the Miami Heat.

The Hawks have won three in a row after suffering their first back-to-back defeat since November. The team has beaten the Milwaukee Bucks, Dallas Mavericks and Orlando Magic while going 36 of 96 from beyond the arc. In their two straight losses to the Boston Celtics and Toronto Raptors the team shot just 15 of 67 from long range. Turnovers were the issue against the Magic. The team opened with a 19-3 lead, but gave up 18 turnovers which led to 20 points. Atlanta normally averages 14.3 a game, but have 18-plus in their last four games. Paul Millsap did lead the charge for the Hawks with 20 points while averaging 19.3 points on 50.0 percent shooting in his last three games.

The Hawks have recent success over the Heat. The team has won four straight while combing to shoot 55.0 percent. Meanwhile, the Heat are struggling with the loss of Chris Bosh for the remainder of the season. The team fell to the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday after Alexis Ajinca got a career-high 24 points. Dwyane Wade is struggling, putting up just 11 points and missing a potential winning 3-pointer. He is shooting just 35.8 percent from the field in his past five games.

Goran Dragic is also struggling since getting traded from the Phoenix Suns. The point guard had 20 points on Friday after putting up just 12 six days prior. He is averaging 19.5 point against Atlanta and the Heat need him to continue on that pace. Luol Deng should help the effort, putting up an average of 24.0 points on 66.7 percent shooting in his last three games.
