The Rangers are ranked in the top half of the league in special teams and they have become a consistent team all through 2015 so far. Nash comes in as one of the league leaders with 33 goals already and this is what the Rangers envisioned when they signed him in the first place. Derick Brassard is tops with 26 assists and Nash is leading the team in points. The Maple Leafs come in with Phil Kessel tops in points and assists, while James van Riemsdyk is tops in goals.

The Leafs come in after snapping a long losing streak and they are 13 points back of the Bruins in the playoffs chase. The Rangers come in looking to get things going and they have the chance to be the top team in the east, but they have lost two in a row. Nash has scored against the Leafs in both games the team has played against Toronto this season and he will be looking to do that again. Derek Stepan and Martin St. Louis have been struggling lately and they will also try and get things going.
