The LA Lakers are going through another tough season and now heading into the trade deadline, they could look at moving Jeremy Lin and some player targets may include Goran Dragic, Reggie Jackson, Lance Stephenson, Tyler Ennis, Michael Carter-Williams or Marc Gasol in the future over the summer as names to pair with Kobe Bryant next season.

The Lakers are heading for the lottery this year and while they may not make big moves at the deadline, the team could look at trading some players for picks or prospects. Jeremy Lin has an expiring deal and while his contract is a high number, it will be off the books next season. According to Pro Basketball Talk, teams like the Cavaliers, Miami Heat and Clippers could be options. The Lakers also could consider trading Jordan Hill or someone else from the bench to bring back some draft picks.

The Lakers are heading into the 2015 free agency summer with high expectations and with Kevin Love and Rajon Rondo not expected to change teams, they could look at the rest of the class as targets. Marc Gasol is going to be the top name for the team,, but with him also expected to stay with his team in Memphis, Greg Monroe and Goran Dragic could emerge as options. The Lakers have been looking for a legit point guard since the Chris Paul trade was vetoed and now they could bring one in.

Dragic is heading towards free agency, as he has an option and he is expected to decline it to hit the market. Dragic comes into this season after winning most improved player last year and he has been impressive over this two year stretch. The Suns may consider trading him, but it's more likely the Lakers go after him in free agency. Dragic said that he plans on having an "open free agency" and that he is not ruling out any teams. The Lakers are in that mix along with the Rockets, who previously had Dragic before he signed with the Suns.

Reggie Jackson is going to be a restricted free agent and with the Thunder not likely to sign him, he could be traded. The Lakers likely will wait rather than give up any draft picks, but there is a chance they could try and trade for him and then sign him back. The Knicks will be interested in Jackson, as he could be a target if they miss out on Rondo or Dragic as free agents on the market this summer.

The Lakers are bad this year and they have just 13 wins and with Kobe Bryant out again for the year, they are looking to next season as a big chance to turn around. Julius Randle is a young player that will be coming back from an injury and the team should be able to add another top 10 talent in the draft. Byron Scott has a five year deal and while the team has been bad on defense and overall as a team, he has the chance to build them back up. Lin, Nash and other players are coming off of the books next year and with young players like Randle and Jordan Clarkson, they could have a bright future.
