World-class boxers Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao met this week at a Miami Heat game and now speculation is running rampant that the two could finally agree to schedule a fight in May 2015 in Las Vegas.

According to ESPN.com, the two boxers met at halftime and spoke during the Miami Heat game against the Bucks and they also met privately after the game. The two have been circling each other for years and there was news towards the end of 2014 that made it look like the boxers could get into the ring. The two had never met before and this could be a first step in the process of getting the fight on the schedule.

The proposed fight is for May 2 and the two boxers reportedly met and discussed some of the "terms" about a potential fight.

From ESPN.com: Pacquiao adviser Michael Koncz, who was present at the meeting, told ESPN.com on Wednesday. "That's the first time they ever sat eye to eye. I've met Floyd many times, but he and Manny had never had a chance to meet. They talked at halftime, but this was a longer, more serious meeting. You could tell by their body language that this was very positive. It was for a good hour or more."

"It was a business meeting, but it wasn't a tense business meeting. I think that's because they both have mutual respect for each other. We'll determine what will happen over the next couple of days."
