The NY Knicks may look at trade deals at the deadline this years as they try and clear out space to set up for free agency this summer and names like Andrea Bargnani, Pablo Prigioni, Amar'e Stoudemire and Jose Calderon could be on the move for Phil Jackson and this comes as Reggie Jackson, Marc Gasol and Goran Dragic will be targets this summer.

The Knicks are coming into the All-Star break as one of the worst teams in the league and that is why many think Phil Jackson will continue to look for trades. According to ESPN.com, Jose Calderon and Andrea Bargnani are the two likely players to get moved, as the team has not been looking to deal Amar'e Stoudemire right now. ESPN reports that Stoudemire could be a candidate for a buyout over a trade, as his contract is still expensive and that is why some teams don't want to pick him up.

The Knicks are looking to clear salary over the next two years to try and sign free agents and that is why they also traded Tyson Chandler, JR Smith and Iman Shumpert over the past months. The team moved Shumpert and Smith to the Cavaliers and now the team could be poised to trade more players heading into the deadline. The New York Post reports that the Knicks want to try to target Marc Gasol this summer and if he stays in Memphis, they also could chase Greg Monroe or Goran Dragic on the market.

Calderon has been playing well for the Knicks this season despite the struggles of the team and he could be a target for teams in need of a point guard. The Cavaliers want a backup for Kyrie Irving, while the Houston Rockets have been trying to get an upgrade for Patrick Beverley. Calderon has two years left on his deal with $15 million and that could make him harder to trade, but the Knicks will likely shop him. Stoudemire has a contract worth $23.4 million and the team could look at buying him out closer to the deadline.

The Knicks have found one strong young player this year in Langston Galloway and now the team is signing him for the rest of the season. According to ESPN.com, Galloway is signing for the rest of this season and next year and it comes after he has established himself as a solid rotation piece since signing a 10-day contract with the team after playing with their D-League affiliate. Galloway is averaging over 10 points per game and he could be a long term piece for the roster.

The Knicks are going to have a ton of cap space and they could even peel back a little this summer in the hopes of getting Kevin Durant in 2016. While it's very likely that Kevin Durant stays in Oklahoma City, the Knicks will at least try to woo him. The Knicks may try sign Reggie Jackson this summer over Dragic or Rajon Rondo, as he could be a cheaper point guard option on the market over those other names. The Knicks need more talent around Carmelo Anthony and they may be able to bring in some young talent in the draft to develop as well if they get a top pick.
