The Liverpool Reds and Chelsea Blues are playing live on the Capital One Cup schedule on Tuesday the League Cup match starts up past 2:45 pm ET from Anfield and will be online from beIn Sport as Jose Mourinho and Brendan Rodgers lead their players into the semifinal first leg with Raheem Sterling, Eden Hazard, Diego Costa and Steven Gerrard taking the pitch.

The two teams have played already this season and they have another matchup at Stamford Bridge coming down the line in the EPL. Liverpool has been rebounding as of late, but they may be too far out to make a real impact. Chelsea had their chances as well and now they are battling Man City at the top of the table this year and they are clearly the best two teams in the League play this season.

Chelsea remains at the top of the EPL table and it doesn't look like they will be coming down soon and they have the chance at all major trophies this year. The team the FA Cup and Champions League as well as the Cap One Cup and Jose Mourinho has been playing all of them as significant and he also wants this trophy as well. Chelsea is looking at add hardware with Mourinho and they have the chance to keep things going with the match against Liverpool.

The Blues won over the Reds during his first run with the Blues and now Mourinho will try and get his team over at Anfield, which is always a tough test no matter what is happening with the team. The two teams have met five teams in the League Cup and the Reds come in having won three of the matches, but they did lose in the final a decade ago. Liverpool has won their matchups at Anfield against Chelsea and they will be looking to do it again.

The two sides have met over 35 times in the last 10 years and nearly half of those were in league cup games and now they matchup again. Chelsea has lost just once in the last seven League Cup matches, winning four of those games. The team has won this competition four times and it was in 2007 the last time they did and they lost in 2008 and also were defeated in the semis two years ago.
