Running back Eddie Lacy #27 of the Green Bay Packers runs for a first down against defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh #90 of the Detroit Lions, in the first quarter of the NFL game at Lambeau Field on December 28, 2014 in Green Bay, Wisconsin."

The Detroit Lions may be without defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh for the wild card game against the Dallas Cowboys next week, as he was suspended for stepping on the leg of Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers on Sunday in Week 17.

While Ndamukong Suh has said that the step was inadvertent, the NFL thought otherwise and now he is appealing, according to ESPN.com. Suh has been called a dirty player before and now he will appeal to try and get into the game this weekend against the Cowboys. Suh has had issues against the Packers before, including getting suspended two games in the 2011 season.

Suh "unnecessarily stepped on [the] opponent's unprotected leg as he lay on the ground unable to protect himself," according to a statement released by the NFL.
