The Golden State Warriors and LA Clippers are playing live on the NBA Christmas schedule and the late matchup on TNT is from the Staples Center at 10:30 pm ET as Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Blake Griffin and Chris Paul take the court and GS comes in as the best team in the league out of the western conference through the holidays.

Golden State comes in at first in the Pacific division and they are 23-4 on the season and after playing the Clippers they will have the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Warriors have been playing very well and despite just losing to the Lakers, they are the top team in the league. Stephen Curry led the team with 22 points and six assists in the game against LA and he is leading the team with 23 points per game.

The Warriors are scoring 108 points per game to rank third in the league in scoring and they are also third in assists per game. Steve Kerr has the team playing solid ball in all areas and they are 11th in defense with 98 points allowed per game. The team is fifth in rebounds per game and now many think that they can make a run to the finals. The Memphis Grizzlies, Warriors and Toronto Raptors are among the best teams in the league this year and that is not the usual suspects for the NBA.

Griffin is leading the Clippers in scoring and he comes in after putting up 21 points and 11 assists in the loss against the Hawks on Tuesday. The team has the Hawks, Warriors and Toronto Raptors all in a row on the schedule and those are three of the best teams in the NBA this season. The Clippers are ranked fourth in the league in scoring this season and they are ranked 21st in scoring on defense. The team is fifth in assists per game and they are ranked 28th in rebounds per game despite having Griffin and DeAndre Jordan.

The Warriors had a 16 game winning streak earlier in the season and now these two teams meet after playing in the playoffs last season in a tough series. Golden State lost that in seven games and now they have the chance to get some revenge. The Warriors already won against the Clippers this season and Golden State comes in having won six straight home games in the series between the two. This matchup is on the road and they have lost all but five of the 20 games on the road since the 2004 season.
