The Denver Broncos and Cincinnati Bengals are playing live on the Monday night football schedule for Week 16 of the NFL season and the game from Paul Browns Stadium is on at 8:30 pm ET on TV from ESPN and streaming online from the WatchESPN website as Peyton Manning and Andy Dalton matchup in a crucial AFC battle that has playoff ramifications.

The Broncos are in position to get a bye in the playoffs, but they need to win here or they could risk losing that spot to the Bengals. While the team will not be able to get home field through the playoffs, they can keep it until they play the Patriots and a win here would do that for Denver. The team comes in after a win against the San Diego Chargers and now they have the Bengals before ending the season at home against the Raiders.

Manning has had another strong season and he has gotten some major help from CJ Anderson, who is leading the team in rushing down the stretch. The Anderson addition has given the Broncos a great element in the rushing game and that has allowed Manning to throw the ball less and it could be huge for the playoffs if he can keep things going. The team is ranked fourth in passing yards per game and they are averaging 111 yards on the ground per contest.

The Broncos have 11 wins on the season, but the Bengals have that pesky tie and that could throw things for a curve if they win this matchup on Monday. The AFC playoffs are mostly set apart from some seeding and one clinched spot to go and the north division will have an impact with this game as well. The Broncos are considered to be one of the favorites in the conference after winning last year and they will be looking to get back to the Super Bowl.

Everyone thinks that the Patriots and Broncos will be there at the end and that would be in New England if the teams face off. The teams played this season and the Pats won and now people are hoping to see another Tom Brady-Manning game in the playoffs. The Broncos have won four games in a row coming into this matchup and five of the last six and they are looking to take this winning streak into the playoffs. Manning has played at a high level once again and now this top AFC matchup could be a playoffs preview depending on how things shake out.

The Bengals dominated the Browns last week on the road and now they have the Broncos before a road game with the Steelers to end the season. The Bengals can go either way in the playoffs race and this is a huge game for both teams. Jeremy Hill and Gio Bernard have been strong for the team all season and they have the Bengals ranked sixth in rushing yards per game. The team has won four of the last five games and they come in after beating Cleveland after the loss to the Steelers at home.
