The Arsenal Gunners and Liverpool are playing live on the English Premier League schedule on Sunday and the match is on the NBC Sports Network on TV and streaming online from the NBCSN Live Extra website starting at 11 am ET from Anfield as Alexis Sanchez tries to lead Arsene Wenger's side to a victory.

Arsenal is outside the top four and they are looking to get things moving in the right direction, while Liverpool has had a tough season and they come in at number 11 on the league table. Liverpool will be without Mario Balotelli and he is sitting for breaking social media rules and that will be tough for the team. Daniel Sturridge will also be out along with Glen Johnson and this is a chance for both teams to get points heading into the holiday schedule.

Arsenal wants to be in solid position heading into 2015 and the Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Nacho Monreal and Theo Walcott all could be out. Aaron Ramsey is dealing with a hamstring injury and that is another hurdle for the team to overcome against Liverpool. Last year Liverpool was one of the top teams along with Arsenal, with the Reds coming in second to Man City and the Gunners finishing in fourth place on the league table.

Luis Suarez helped the team win this match last season and he scored a goal in that match and Liverpool put five on Arsenal in the victory. Liverpool has won just two of the last 14 matches between the teams in EPL play and Arsenal won the other two matchups last season, which included an FA Cup match at home, but now the Gunners are on the road.

Liverpool has not been playing well as of late and while they won this week, they have only won three times in the last 11 games in all competitions. The team has not been scoring like they did last season, with the loss of Suarez particularly affecting the club. Balotelli being out will be tough for the team and they are looking to get some points here. At this time last season Liverpool was much higher on the table and they only have the chance to get to this point with 21 points on the table, which would be the lowest over 16 games in decades.

Arsenal has started off the season slow, but in the last week they have been improving and they have gone 5-3 with no draws in the last eight games in the league. Sanchez has been very good for the team this season and he has seven goals over the last 17 for the team and he could be the key on Sunday. Arsenal is seventh on the league table and they come in after a Champions League win and a win against Newcastle on the EPL schedule.
