The Houston Rockets and Denver Nuggets are playing live on the NBA schedule on Wednesday night and the matchup is on ESPN and streaming from the WatchESPN website online at 10:30 pm ET following the Nets and Raptors game and this has Dwight Howard, James Harden and Kenneth Faried taking the court for the western conference tilt.
The Rockets come in after playing the Rockets at home and winning and now they have the return trip and they will next matchup with the New Orlean Pelicans. The team comes in ranked second in the league in scoring defense and they are in the top 10 in rebounding. The Rockets are 18-5 on the season and they are second in the southwest division behind the MEmphis Grizzlies.
Howard comes into the game after putting up 26 points and 13 rebounds against the Nuggets, while James Harden had 10 assists in the matchup. Howard had missed 11 games coming into that matchup and he looked healthy and ready to take over and now the Rockets should be even better. The team has played very well with Howard out of the lineup and now that he is back they can pick up the pace even more. The Rockets went 8-3 with Howard injured and he also added three blocks in his return.
Harden comes in after putting up a triple double with 24 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists and now Kevin McHale feels that the team can really get into gear. The Nuggets will be without Kenneth Faried and Danilo Gallinari in the game due to injuries and JaVale McGee is going to be out for quite a while. The Nuggets are 10-14 on the season and come in after a loss against the Spurs.
