The Phoenix Suns may look at trade deals this season now that it's past December 15 and heading into the deadline, names like Goran Dragic, Isaiah Thomas, Gerald Green, PJ Tucker and others could be targets, as teams like the LA Lakers, Chicago Bulls, Cleveland Cavaliers, Clippers, Nets and contending teams look to make moves and Roy Hibbert could also be a target for the Suns.

Earlier in the summer, the Pacers were rumored to be interested in Dragic in a deal for Hibbert, but after the Paul George mess the two sides did not get anything done. According to ESPN.com, Thomas, who signed in the offseason and is eligible to be traded now, fired his agent and that could be a sign that he wants to get traded. The Suns have a ton of guards and with Dragic likely coming back after heading into free agency and Tyler Ennis also there with Eric Bledsoe, Thomas may want a change of scenery.

The report says that Thomas fired his agent for "personal and professional" reasons and now that could lead to a deal or at least some interest or other teams. Anthony Tolliver and P.J. Tucker are also now eligible to be traded and those are names the Suns may look at moving as well. The Suns are in the middle of things in the west after winning 48 games last season, but they need more if they want to make a run to the playoffs. The team has a number of guards and they could look at getting bigger inside by trading one of them.

With Paul George out, the Pacers have been a mess and they have also been dealing with an injury to George Hill. The Suns and Pacers could trade from strength positions and move a guard for as forward like David West or Hibbert, but right now there is no major movement on a deal. Bledsoe likely isn't going anywhere and the team hopes to sign back Dragic next season, making Thomas a potential target for teams looking for a point guard.

The Suns come into the week at fifth in the league in points per game this season, but they are 26th in defense and need to get bigger inside. The team is ranked 18th in rebounds per game and they have been getting beat inside on most nights. Making a move with Thomas would be a solid development for the team, as they can add some sixe behind Alex Len up front. The team thought about making a move on Pau Gasol last year and now they can pick up on that thread with another move.

The Lakers were interested in Thomas last season and they also like Dragic, as Pro Basketball Talk writes that they will go after Dragic as a free agent next summer. The Suns have the chance to make some moves here and they have draft picks stockpiled for the next couple years as well. Fi the team is high on Ennis, they can afford to move one of their guards. Gerald Green has also come up as a possible option to move.
