The Detroit Red Wings and Toronto Maple Leafs are playing live on the NHL schedule on Saturday and the matchup from the Air Canada Centre starts at 7 pm ET on the NHL Network as the Original Six game goes down and both teams are looking to get things going in the east standings as Phil Kessel and Henrik Zetterberg go at it.
The Maple Leafs come into the game after a win in an overtime shootout against the Red Wings on Wednesday in Detroit and now they play again. The Red Wings are currently first in the division with 41 points and they are 17-6-7 this season as they try and bounce back from a loss to the Panthers. The team comes in ranked in the top 10 across major categories, including fifth in goals per game this season. The Red Wings are seventh in goals against and eighth in power play percentage and second in penalty kill percentage.
