It was about to the Giants made some noise with the trade deadline approaching. The Los Angeles Dodgers have stocked up on talent after acquiring Hanley Ramirez last week and most recently getting relief pitcher Brandon League from the Seattle Mariners.

The Dodgers and the Giants are currently tied for first place in the NL West. The Arizona Diamondbacks have been rumored to making a huge move that could alter the race in the West.

The D'Backs have one game above .500, yet they are only 3 1/2 games out of first place.
