The EPL results for this week saw Manchester United win over Southampton, while Chelsea fell for the first time and now Manchester City is in second place in the English Premier League standings behind the Blues, who will look to bounce back next week heading into the middle of the December schedule.

Manchester United won over Southampton away at St. Mary's by the score of 2-1 and now the team is in third place on the English Premier League table. Man United won on Monday with two goals from Robin Van Persie and now they are in solid position on the EPL table. Louis Van Gaal was not happy with the performance, as the team had just three shots compared to 15 from Southampton.

The English Premier League results from this week saw Chelsea lose for the first time to snap their unbeaten streak, while second place Manchester City lose Sergio Aguero in their win over Everton and this came as Arsenal lost their third match in the last five, putting the Gunners and Arsene Wenger on alert coming into the EPL holiday schedule.
