The Atlanta Falcons are preparing to take on the Green Bay Packers on national television, on the road, with NFC South dominance hanging in the balance. It is no secret that the Falcons have had their share of struggles this season, but the team is in a position to get a solid lead in the standings after the New Orleans Saints loss to the Carolina Panthers and they intend to take advantage of it. In order to do so, their biggest playmakers need to be healthy and Roddy White intends on being one of them.

White sat out the win over the Arizona Cardinals in Week 13 with a left ankle sprain. In his place, Julio Jones had a career-high day while Harry Douglas hit over 100 yards in the game. White has barely been seen at practice this week heading into the road trip against the Packers, but the wide receiver says he fully intends to be active in the game on Monday night.

"It felt pretty good out there, man," White said, via ESPN.com. "Just out there relaxing; catching some balls, working on timing and stuff like that. It was good man. I needed to get out there and go out there with Matt (Ryan) and work on timing for a little while. That's what we did. I don't have any doubts. I'm just trying to get us a win, man. No doubts. The only doubt in my mind is the cold, man. Slight chance of snow, so we're looking good."

The Falcons have found themselves the punch line to a number of jokes as they currently lead the NFC South with a losing record, keeping them poised for the postseason. White took to Twitter after the director of an NFL team whose name was not revealed said that if the Falcons won their division it would be unbelievable and a joke. White tweeted out, "Nothing pisses me off more than people who don't like to put there name on things I wonder what his team record is. People are crazy divisions have been won going 7-9 8-8 in this league before a team has won the super bowl that went 9-7 I like our chances."

The Falcons have remained positive and hopeful regarding their season despite the number of struggles and bad losses. Quarterback Matt Ryan notes that the Falcons have all the talent to be successful finishing out the season, they just have to do a better job of playing up to it. Getting all of their wide receivers back will certainly help the effort.
