The Washington Wizards continue to dominate in the Eastern Conference. Sitting at 11-5 on the year, they have stumbled on occasion, but have yet to truly suffer a bad loss as they have the second-best record in the Eastern Conference to date. The team is aiming to build off their first playoff appearance in six years and doing a solid job as the face the Los Angeles Lakers who hold one of the worst records in the NBA.

The Wizards are currently undefeated against teams under .500 being at 7-0 on the year while being 5-4 against teams above average. They come into the game aiming to avenge their recent home loss to the Miami Heat where John Wall put up 18 points and 13 assists while they posted their second highest assist total as they continue to average a league high 24.7 points. Wall himself is averaging 9.3 per game while the Wizards continue to have at least six players averaging double-digits in points.

The Wizards come into the game against the Los Angeles Lakers looking to extend their longest series win streak. They took the last three meetings against the Lakers including the last four of five after losing nine straight. Wall is thriving against Los Angles averaging 27.7 points on 51.7 percent shooting. However, the Lakers are 4-0 against Eastern Conference.

The Lakers are trying to win three games in a row for the first time since a year ago. Kobe Bryant is coming off his worst game of the year, but the Lakers are currently outscoring their last three opponents by an average of 21.7 points. Bryant skipped out on practice recently, stating exhaustion as a reason. He is playing some of the biggest minutes in the league right now and head coach Bryant Scott gave him an off day. The veteran is excelling against the Wizards, averaging 29.1 points in his last four meetings against the team. The Lakers will need another big night from him.
