Manchester City and Bayern Munich are playing live on the UEFA Champions League schedule on Tuesday and the match is from Etihad Stadium and starts up on Fox Sports 1 at 2:45 pm ET and streaming live on the Fox Soccer 2Go website as Man City takes on the German super team and this has the Premier League and Bundesliga Champions facing off in the group stage.

Man City comes out of the weekend at third in the Premier League and they are looking to get into better form heading into this match. The team has been up and down this season and they come in as the EPL Champs and they are looking to get a nice game here against the German champions. The team now has seven wins this season in the EPL and they come into this match scoring less than last season, but they are still one of the tops coring clubs in the Premier League.

Man City will be playing without Yaya Toure and Fernandinho in this game and that is of course a big hit and now they will get the chance to play against one of the best teams in the world. Man City comes into this match looking for points and they will be without those players after the CSKA Moscow match that was a defeat at home, while Sergio Aguero will play. David Silva, Edin Dzeko and Aleksandar Kolarov are injured and that means Man City will be a bit shorthanded.

Man City has not had the best run in the Champions League and this match is huge, as they could lose to Bayern and if CSKA Moscow or Roma win they will be out. The team has to blame no one but themselves, as they have kept just two points in the first four games in Group E and that is no way to advance out of this stage. Now they play one of the toughest teams in the world and the winners of the UCL from two years ago.

Manuel Pellegrini knows his team needs to play better and this would be the third time in four seasons that they have not made it to the knockout stage if they lose. The team could stay alive without a win on Tuesday, but that would be very helpful in their campaign and Bayern has already advanced, as they have won the group already. The team is in first place in Bundesliga and they have a seven point lead in those standings coming into this game.

Man City comes in after winning against Swansea City and that was nice bounce back for the team in Premier League play and before that was a draw away with QPR. Now the team has Bayern and after this they have Roma coming up in group play.
