Philadelphia Flyers vs. NY Rangers Live Stream: Watch Online Streaming NHL Game

The Philadelphia Flyers and NY Rangers are playing a rivalry game live on the NHL season schedule on Wednesday and the matchup is on NBC from the NBC Sports Network and it will be streaming on the NBCSN Live Extra website as the Blueshirts host at Madison Square Garden after playing the team in the playoffs last season and it starts up at 8 pm ET for Henrik Lundqvist and Rick Nash.

The Rangers come in after yet another frustrating loss and this has been happening way too often this season for the Blueshirts. The team fell 5-1 to the Lightning and to add insult to injury, Tampa Bay had three former Rangers on the ice, including captain Ryan Callahan. Rick Nash has been off to a strong start this season and he is leading the Rangers with 12 goals and 19 assists and they are hoping he keeps this up.

The Rangers have been very inconsistent to start the season and like last year they are at .500 early on the schedule, as they are 7-7-4 coming into this game. New York has had some great games, but they have also had some awful ones and the game against the Lightning was just that. The Rangers snapped a win streak for the Penguins before last week, but then they lost to the team in a shootout a few days later.

The Rangers started off slow last season and ended up making the Stanley Cup finals, but with the way the east is playing out this year they may not be able to do that again. The Rangers come into the game after a bad loss to Tampa and now they have the Flyers before a matchup with the Buffalo Sabres, who have been the worst team in the NHL. The Rangers have to travel to Buffalo and that could be an issue, as the area has been hit with some bad snow storms this week and that could be a problem for NY.

The Rangers and the Flyers played in the playoffs last season and they had a hard fought series in seven games that New York won. The Rangers pulled that out and then went into the Penguins series and also won that in seven, coming back from a 3-1 deficit and now the team has to find a way to get things going this season. The Rangers have Nash playing well and they need names like Derick Brassard and Martin St. Louis to up their games as well.
