The Milwaukee Bucks and Brooklyn Nets are playing on the NBA schedule on Wednesday night and the matchup from the Barclays Center marks the return of Jason Kidd back to NY after he left to take over the Bucks and that could add some drama to the matchup, which starts up past 7:30 pm ET in BK and comes as the Bucks have a better record than the Nets.

Brooklyn comes into the game after a loss against the Miami Heat and right now they are 4-6 on the season and they will next play the Oklahoma City Thunder on the road. The Nets lost at home to Miami by 12 points and while Kevin Garnett had nine rebounds and Bojan Bogdanovic led with 22 points, it wasn't enough to beat Dwyane Wade and company.

Deron Williams is leading the team in scoring and he will be looking to get the Nets back on track as they welcome in their former head coach to the arena. Last season Kidd led the team to 44 wins after a slow start and a second round appearance in the playoffs, but now he will be on the opposite side of the court and will battle against new Brooklyn head coach Lionel Hollins. The Nets have been up and down to start the season and this could be a turning point game for Brooklyn, as many still feel a bit heated about the way Kidd left. This is the first matchup in Brooklyn for the teams since the move and right now the Bucks come in playing some solid basketball.

The Bucks won over the Knicks earlier on Tuesday and they now have won four of the last five games and they are looking to add another one on Wednesday. The Bucks come into the game after a close win over the Knicks and they have been getting some strong play this season from their young players. The team is second in the central division right now and that is a major improvement for a team that won fewer than 20 games last year.

The Bucks are sixth in the league in points allowed this season and they next will play against the Raptors on the schedule. The Raptors are first in the Atlantic this season and now they will have the Bucks coming in after the matchup in Brooklyn for Milwaukee. The Bucks are playing well coming into this matchup and the intrigue with Kidd will only add to the drama.

In other NBA action, the NY Knicks and Minnesota Timberwolves play Wednesday as New York continues their road trip and the team is looking to bounce back after yet another loss on the NBA schedule and things tip off at 8 pm ET from the Target Center as Carmelo Anthony and Amar'e Stoudemire meet Andrew Wiggins for the first time this year.
